NEAG Introductory Talk – Darlington
Our first public get-together will be held at The Britannia Inn, Darlington on 30th March, at 2pm.
We’ll introduce the NEAG, what we are all about, why we formed and what we want to achieve. We’ll also discuss Anarchism, going over briefly what it is, why we think it’s great and how we can look to apply it to the world around us.
The talk will only be short and we’ll open it up so everyone can ask any questions as well as have a drink and a general chit-chat to discuss the world, politics, work, whatever, and how it affects us as members of the working class.
We will also be giving some details on reading material for our first reading group, where we’ll read through some classic Anarchist texts and discuss them!
This is, of course, a free and inclusive talk, so whether you know all about Anarchism or are a complete newcomer, we’d love it if you came along and if you like what you hear, maybe consider joining us and helping us try and create a movement to organise, educate and agitate, here in the North East.
